But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
Eph. 2:4-5
Greetings to you today,
Christ’s Chapel now enters teaching for the study of the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. This letter has been written to the church of Ephesus, and all the faithful in Christ, as a formal letter, dealing with faith and practice, for the followers of Christ. Throughout this study, you will find that the overall theme is God’s plan to bless the world through Christ.
In Christ, you are chosen of God through the work of Christ, adopted as his Child, and brought nigh to Him through faith in His Son (Eph 1)! In Christ, you are redeemed, brought out of sin and trespasses, and given a new life together with Christ. By His grace you are saved (Eph 2). All to the praise of the glory of His grace (v 1:6)!
We trust that you will be able to join in with this Ephesians summer series, being offered the first three Sunday mornings, 10:30 AM worship, for July and August. The fourth Sunday of each month will continue as the Christ’s Chapel monthly prayer and praise worship! You are welcome to bring family and friend. Let us gather before the Lord our God, having His word strengthen us for the call upon our lives. Children’s church (age 3-11) offered each Sunday.
Lord bless and keep you,
Pastor Simeon Strauser
